Comments on the International Development Select Committee report on the CDC group – the private finance arm of the Department for International Development (DFID).
CDC is not doing nearly enough to help lift people around the world out of poverty, and the report also questions the group's use of tax havens, the payment of excessive bonuses to fund managers, and the overall lack of transparency surrounding the way it operates.
