Failure to support workers is turning people against EU, TUC & FPC warn

Attempts to undermine the employment rights of working people in the face of massive austerity could lead to the European Union losing the support of its citizens, the TUC and Foreign Policy Centre (FPC) will tell the EU Commissioner for Employment and Social Affairs Laszlo Andor today (Friday) at an event to launch a new joint pamphlet.

Dudley College Receives Prestigious TUC/unionlearn Quality Award from Pete Waterman in National Apprenticeships Week

Today (Thursday 9 February) Robin Neil, Account Manager and Lowell Williams, Dudley College Principal received the prestigious unionlearn Quality Award from Dr Pete Waterman and Simon Waugh, National Apprenticeships Service (NAS) Chair. The award was made for Dudley College’s Black Country Civil Service Apprenticeship Scheme. Dudley College is one of over 100 education providers which have received the award.
