Unite members working for IT services company Fujitsu have voted to accept proposals to resolve the dispute between Unite and the company over jobs, pay and pensions.
RAIL UNION RMT today confirmed that a ballot for national industrial action involving Network Rail operations staff across the country will begin next Thursday - 4th March.

UCU today welcomed the news that there had been a reduction in the proportion of young people not working or in education or training. However, the union warned that recent history suggests the numbers are likely to rise from the next quarter and that the government is very unlikely to meet its own target in reducing the number of people not in education, employment or training (NEETs).
The TUC today (Thursday) welcomed the introduction of measures for workers suffering from asbestos-related diseases, but criticised the Government's decision not to reintroduce compensation for those who are diagnosed with pleural plaques.
