Nicola Smith has been appointed as the first female Head of Economic and Social Affairs at the TUC.
Nicola has been at the TUC for four years. She joined the economic and social affairs department in March 2007 as the Senior Policy Officer responsible for the TUC's Commission on Vulnerable Employment, a major investigation into the causes of and solutions to vulnerable employment in the UK.
