unionlearn supports Apprentices to have a leading role in ensuring Apprenticeships are fit for the future

As part of unionlearn’s ongoing commitment to increase capacity, drive up the standard and continually improve the quality of Apprenticeships, unionlearn in the northern region hosted and facilitated a discussion group for local Apprentices to give feedback on their own personal experiences directly to the Richard Review team, the Department for Business, Innovation& Skills and Education commissioned review into the future of Apprenticeships.

Fun and Olympic Games with the Give an Hour campaign in Newcastle

Newcastle Libraries are having a fun event on the 31st of July, in association with the BBC and Give an Hour campaign.

Volunteers from the libraries, partner organisations and throughout the area will be giving an hour to help members of the public get online! Volunteers will be showing people how to get online and enjoy the sporting summer, using smart phones, laptops and digital cameras.
